About Justin “J” Hess
Hi, I’m J, an interdisciplinary design creator and art enthusiast with over 7 years of design experience in beauty, fashion, film, astrology, and nightlife. Romanced by experiences that expand my design perspective, I thrive by diving deep into my craft and cultivating safe environments for creativity to roam free. My approach to design is classified into three beliefs: build with design principles, lead with clarity, and leave room to reset.
I am also a co-founder of Brooklyn-based astrology collective Funkoven. My background in design and visual curation blooms through our newsletter where I have the privilege to write and share astrological learnings. Additional explorations include a steady stream of gatherings, workshops and celebrations giving folks of all entry points have an expansive playscape to discover, explore and harness their individual and collective power through Astrology, the intuitive arts, and magical liberatory practice.
